Learning about the Orthodox faith is a life-long pursuit. Being well grounded in our Orthodox faith is important as we face the challenges of life: our careers, marriage, raising children, welcoming grandchildren, confronting health issues, loss of loved ones and our own mortality. Our Orthodox Tradition and the writings of the Church Fathers will guide and sustain us. Knowledge of the Gospel and Orthodox Tradition will allow our faith to come alive within us and flourish in our souls and hearts. Come and join us!
We meet most Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. in the fall and spring. Our next session will begin on Tuesday, October 1 at 6:30 in the Bible Study room. The topic for the 2013 – 2014 year will be “The History of Ancient Christianity from the beginning of the Acts of the Apostles till to 1054, the time of the Great Schism.” The Annunciation Bookstore does not carry this book at this time. You should also bring a Bible.

Adult Religious Education is led by Father George Bessinas. Everyone is invited to attend these enlightening sessions. The atmosphere is informal and encourages participation from everyone who attends. Feel free to bring a family member or friend. Join us for coffee, dessert on the first Tuesday of each month.
